1st STEP:
- Download the Transfer Form from our website and then submit the filled up Form to Land Management Section.
2nd STEP:
- The form should be attached with the following documents
i. ID card of the Plot owner and the Transferee
ii. Agreement ( Original )
iii. Latest Ownership Certificate ( copy )
iv. NOC from family members ( original )
v. If transfer to children, census status proving their relationship.( City Corporation provides this information if your census is recorded in our office, if not the client is supposed to get the record from the Immigration Division, Home Ministry.),
vi. If the Land is mortgaged then clearance from the concerned financial institution.
3rd STEP:
- The completed filled up form should be submitted to the Land Management section where both
the Transferor and the Transferee should be present in person.
4th STEP:
- Then the Land Management section will record the received date and send the document for
verification to the various Sections and Divisions. Then we forward the
document to the land Management Section for preparation of note sheet.
5th STEP:
- The Land Management Section prepares the Note Sheet which is then
forwarded to Head DCD for further scrutiny and then is submitted to Dasho
Thrompon for his final approval.
6th STEP:
- After Dasho’s approval the Transfer Document is sent to Legal Section for the
final agreement to be signed between the transferor and the transferee.
*This whole process takes about 45 working days if all the documents are intact and no problem arises.
